This Cookie Policy explains how bimyourself.com uses cookies and similar technologies in the Release 0.5 baseline.
1. Current Release 0.5 Configuration
At launch, BIMYOURSELF is configured without analytics, profiling, marketing trackers or embedded YouTube content. The Brevo tracking script is not active. The website may use only strictly necessary technologies required for navigation, security, form operation and management of your cookie or consent preferences.
2. Necessary Cookies and Technologies
Strictly necessary cookies or equivalent local-storage technologies may be used where needed to:
- deliver core website functions and maintain security;
- remember technical or consent-preference choices;
- protect forms and website infrastructure from abuse;
- support essential WordPress or consent-management functionality.
These technologies are not used for behavioural advertising or profiling.
3. Statistics and Marketing Categories
Statistics and marketing tracking are not active in the Release 0.5 baseline. No optional analytics or marketing script should be loaded merely for completeness. If BIMYOURSELF later activates a non-essential analytics, marketing or embedded-media service, the cookie configuration and this policy will be reviewed before that service is enabled, and consent will be requested where required.
4. YouTube and External Media
BIMYOURSELF Practice may link to a demo hosted on YouTube. The website uses a standard outbound link rather than an embedded player. As a result, YouTube scripts and cookies are not loaded on bimyourself.com before you click the link. After you leave BIMYOURSELF, the external provider applies its own privacy and cookie rules.
5. Complianz and Cookie Preferences
BIMYOURSELF uses Complianz as its consent-management interface. In the Release 0.5 baseline, if the final site scan confirms that only necessary technologies are present, the interface should not create artificial optional categories or ask for consent to services that are not actually loaded.
The footer provides a “Manage cookie preferences” control. This allows you to reopen the consent interface and view or change any preferences that are available for the current configuration. Necessary technologies remain active because they are required for the service to function.
6. Evidence of Cookie Choices
Where the consent interface records a user choice, Complianz may retain the technical evidence and version of that choice as part of its consent-management function. This cookie-choice evidence is not duplicated as marketing-consent data in Brevo or in custom WordPress marketing fields.
7. Current Cookie List
The exact list of cookies and similar technologies can depend on the live WordPress and Complianz configuration. The production cookie scan and consent interface should be treated as the current operational record. Only technologies actually detected and used on the live Release 0.5 site should be described or categorised as active.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This policy will be updated if the website introduces analytics, embedded third-party media, marketing trackers or other non-essential technologies. Any such change must be reflected in the consent configuration before the relevant scripts are activated.
